Autodesk Inventor is a 3D CAD software solution that offers tools for mechanical design, documentation, and simulation. It combines parametric, direct, freeform, and rules-based design methods to enable flexible, efficient product development. In addition, it includes integrated tools for machine design, sheet metal, frame design, tube and pipe systems, cable and harness layouts, and other specialized applications. It also features strong Model-Based Definition capabilities, allowing manufacturing information to be embedded directly into the 3D model.
